We used Wood Renew and they did an excellent job. They did an entire house for one of our friends.

We have used KAM construction here at the Baxter Country Store. These two men are great!! Good solid work at excellent prices.

I agree about KAM they rebuilt our deck after the last ice storm. Great job, hard workers, great price, and they show up on time. clap

A friendly word of warning.....Use caution when pressure washing your wooden deck.

Too high a pressure or too narrow a nozzle pattern will blast the "pith" wood out down to a lower level than the "growth rings" that form the grain you can see in wood. If that happens, water will stand in the little valleys between the grain or growth rings which are much harder than the softer wood in between. That standing water will greatly shorten the life of whatever kind of wood you have.

Best thing you can do is use a quality chemical stain remover along with a good strong scrubbing with a deck brush and then hose it off with garden hose and a regular nozzle only.

I'm not referring to the people/workers others have mentioned on this thread but there are many, many fast-buck artists out there who will ruin your wood with a quick pressure wash at way too high a pressure so they can move on to the next job.

Skeeter, I agree 100% on all points. I used a stripper(not that kind) and scrubbed the whole thing with a brush. Twice. That's why I'm looking for someone to do it and not blast the wood to death. Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll be calling a couple of the referrals this week.

The glass and screen replacement place just north of Kimberling City (used to be the dry cleaner) had something on their sign about pressure washing, I noticed it as I passed it and ment to write down the phone number when I came back by and forgot. Shocked Will try again next time I go by.
